We built Dhister because synthetic voices still don't sound like people.

Text-to-speech got clearer over the years, but not more human. It reads words correctly and still misses everything that makes a conversation feel real: the pauses, the shifts in tone, the way a person recovers when they're interrupted.

Typical text-to-speech flat

Even cadence, no breathing room, no change in tone. Correct, and unmistakably a machine.

The Dhister voice alive

Pacing, tone, and interruption solved in one engine, so it sounds like a person on a call or hosting an episode.

The gap we set out to close

Correct words weren't the problem. Real delivery was.

The gap was obvious the moment you needed a voice to do something real: handle an objection on a sales call, host a two-way podcast, or represent a specific person consistently. A flat narrator can't do any of that convincingly.

So we built one engine focused on the parts that actually make speech sound alive, pacing, tone, and interruption, and then pointed it at the three jobs people kept asking for: calls, episodes, and cloned voices.

Because it's the same engine underneath, a voice that sounds real on a call sounds just as real hosting an episode. And because it's a voice product, we treat the voice itself as something that belongs to a person, which is why consent isn't an afterthought here.

What we hold to

Three principles we don't bend on.

01

Voice cloning requires real consent, always.

A voice belongs to the person who owns it. Cloning happens only with their explicit, verifiable, revocable consent, enforced by the product, not left to trust.

02

Every call outcome is logged, nothing hidden.

What happened on a call is recorded and categorised automatically. No cherry-picked results, no quietly dropped conversations.

03

It should sound like a person, because it's speaking to one.

The whole product is judged by ear. If a listener can tell within a sentence, we haven't done our job, so that's the bar we build against.

Where our attention goes

One engine, sharpened on the details listeners notice.

The sound of real speech

We measure ourselves by ear, not by feature lists. If a pause lands wrong, it's a bug.

Consent as infrastructure

Consent and usage controls are built into how cloning works, not bolted on as policy text.

One engine, many outputs

We'd rather perfect a single voice engine than ship three mediocre ones that don't share a spine.
